Join us this month to hear from Russell Hancock, the President and CEO of Joint Venture Silicon Valley, and a key driver of some of the most important public policy decisions in Silicon Valley.

“Five Things to Know about Silicon Valley Right Now” is the non-partisan focus of SPARC’s in-person Speaker Series event at 6:00 PM on June 10. Dr. Hancock’s presentation is based on the research published in the 2026 Silicon Valley Index, a comprehensive analysis of the strength of our economy and the health of our community.

The first 50 SPARC members to register for the event will receive a free copy of the 2026 Silicon Valley Index, a document now receiving national and international attention.

Dr. Hancock is also the founder of the annual State of the Valley conference, a “town hall” meeting attracting more than 1,500 leaders for a day spent in dialogue and discussion about the Valley’s challenges and opportunities. The conference features the release of the Silicon Valley Index.

The Silicon Valley Business Journal perpetually names Russell to its annual list of Silicon Valley’s most influential “players.” His interviews regularly appear in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business Week, The Financial Times and Forbes. He is also a frequent guest on NBC Nightly News.

Our meeting will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Fremont Country Club in Los Altos Hills. We will host a wine reception for our premium members and a no host bar for all guests.
