Join us this month for an engaging and informative conversation with David Tangipa. Drawing on his insider’s perspective on California politics, Assemblyman Tangipa will share what is happening in Sacramento today—and the changes needed to break the supermajority and strengthen our Golden State.

“Breaking the Supermajority in Sacramento” is the focus of SPARC’s in-person Speaker Series event at 6:00 PM on April 30.

Elected to the State Assembly in 2024, Assemblyman Tangipa represents California’s 8th Assembly District, serving communities across the Central Valley and the Fresno area. Before entering the legislature, he worked in real estate and served with Fresno County.

Assemblyman Tangipa is committed to championing common-sense policies that strengthen our communities. He stands firmly against wasteful spending, the erosion of local control, and overreach by big government.

A San Joaquin Valley native and proud first-generation American, David is the son of a veteran. Born and raised in Sacramento, he has spent his entire adult life in Fresno. He attended Fresno State, where he played tight end for the Bulldogs and embraced the values of discipline, hard work, and the enduring spirit of the Central Valley.
